[REL|V] London 1960s in V

Hellloooooooo, world! Here's another fine NTAuthority release for GTA, this time a lovely map modification for V...

... which happens to be the result of the past week-or-two of work on a quick-and-dirty world creation method. If you want to create your own maps, look out for a basic guide for the tool to experiment with coming soon to the CitizenFX section.

Screenshot of an earlier version:

Download: http://refint.org/files/london.zip

Installation guide:

0. Make sure your V copy is set to automatically sign in to the Social Club, is updated to 350.1/350.2 and does not have any core RPFs modified (OpenIV's 'mods' folder is fine, however).

1. Get FiveM and extract it to an empty folder which can be located anywhere.

2. Run the executable once to update, then close the game once it launches.

3. Extract the 'london' folder into a new folder called 'usermaps' in the folder containing FiveM.exe, making it look like this:

organonymal.png

4. Run FiveM again.

5. When at the main menu (before signing in to Terminal), press the console key on your keyboard (` on US, the key left to 1 for other layouts most likely) and enter the following command: Invoke-LevelLoad london.

6. Wait for the game to load. You'll probably end up falling through the empty ground - set a waypoint somewhere sensible on the pause menu map and press F11 to teleport to it.

7. Have fun! Remember: trainers can be placed in a 'plugins' folder as pictured above - just put .asi files there; no other files should be placed outside of the base V folder.

As a final note, thanks go out to for the London 'conversion'. :p

still me, still existent, still.. everything~

First.

Also, too low-poly. Doesn't fit V at all. Totally kills the 1960's London vibe. Also, nice work.

SECOND

It's such a weird ''London'' though, the rest of the game felt more british than the actual map for some reason.

Nice job NT. I can't wait to see Liberty City.

Edit: Do you think you will ever fix vehicle spawning on the Steam version? I can't spawn any vehicles.

You might not noticed it, but the map is from GTA 1.

No idea - there's a crash fix I had to apply but I guess it matches some incorrect location on the Steam variant, however in the future (for update pinning) everyone'll use retail executables anyway...

Ha ha ha. So, this is what it is all about.

Let me get that straight. You spend like a month to do models and stuff just to beat us in some kind of "I got models first" competition? Which actually you made up by yourself because all this hate stuff? Man, I'm feel sorry for you, you are so pathetic.

People demand OIV to publish documentation > DO RESEARCH YOURSELF

People do research themselves > YOU ARE PHATETIC

Fun.

Oh so you do want exclusivity on RAGE modding. Glad you cleared that up for us ;)

why should it matter? people will use whatever is available to them. this is supposed to be fun not a competition, good-nts just keep working on openiv and nta will do his thing; stay off each others backs(and threads).

Neither of you knew that GTA1 had two expansions known as GTA London 1961, and GTA London 1969? =P This is a convert of that

i solved the terminal issue by simply out of pure frustration for no reason drag my hand across the keyboard while being sad

turns out it was Ö that was the terminal key so for non american keyboard layout users who can't get the key to work just mash buttons until you find it

It doesnt matter who's first and did what, but will you able to share it and update it so it can be do'able for everyone thats what most matters to modders ^^
Maybe i expect much like a proper SDK, might be just to soon for that..

Wiorked amazingly. Love how authentic FiveM feels, even at this stage of development.

My only issue is that cars aren't spawning when using a trainer. I'm on the steam version.

One thing i'm wondering is if this map replaces the original GTA 5 San Andreas? How it works?
